Had the pleasure of shooting alongside my good friend and talented photographer Matt McDonald this weekend.

Rooftop Summer
The warm weather in Seattle is so welcoming, especially watching the sun set behind Seattle's cityscape.
New York, NY
Went to NY last weekend for a web design conference. Stayed and played for a few days after. Had a great time in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I love being a tourist.
Mom & Pops Visit Seattle
Had a wonderful visit from the parents last weekend. Mom & Dad flew up from California and rented an apartment in Capitol Hill. Long spring walks and endless great food commenced.
A walk with Steven Paul
Steven Paul Ploog is one of my longest friends. We've been partners in crime since 1999. Steve is a very talented musician who also served five years in the armed forces, including two years in Afghanistan. He is the last person I would have ever expected to sign up for the Army, but the life experiences he has gained are immeasurable. The Wednesday before last I randomly wrote on his Facebook Timeline "Come visit". By Saturday he was on a train from California and 30 hours later he was at my door. A great friend to say the least. I'm blessed to have friendships that stand the test of time.
Steve grabbed the camera and snapped one of me sitting at Liberty on 15th, enjoying a post walk beer.
La Push, WA | End of October
We were blessed with late spring / early summer weather this weekend out on the Olympic Peninsula. La Push is known for being almost constantly rainy, especially this time of the year. Felt great to take advantage of some warmer air as we drift into a seemingly endless winter.
PS Happy Birthday to Miss Brittany Jones.
Photo Walk | Discovery Park
My friend Jaki Portolese organized a photo walk this past weekend in Discovery Park. Seattle is unique in the sense that while it's a big, high-rise building filled city, it still possesses various nature-esque elements. And for someone who wants their cake and still eat it, the Emerald City allows once to be a city folk, and a classic Northwest outdoorsman all at once. Hiking, camping, fishing, surfing and snowboarding are anywhere from 45 minutes to three hours away.
Fortunate to have so many photographer friends so close to me.
